These. All of these. I promise. My Pilates Ring will be ordered in the coming days, and I'm excited to explore all the Pilates possibilities at home. I use it in my practice and teaching on the Reformer. It is a fundamental piece of equipment if you're looking for something that travels well because of its size and its light weight. Gliding Discs and Bender Balls are a staple at the Barre, but you don't HAVE to have a Barre to use them. Check out my YouTube Channel if you want any ideas on how to use them (I'll warn you- that thing is a bigger work in progress than this site right here, but hey- it serves its purpose right now!).
Do I get a couple pennies if you purchase from these links? Absolutely. Thank you for supporting me in what I love to do- share my love of fitness! <3 Also, if you're local and want discs or balls, let me know; I have connections that make them a bit cheaper than buying from Amazon! ;-)

To say I'm an anxious person is a severe understatement. I like to have everything planned, sometimes years in advance. I can tell you what I plan to make 3 years from now, and how I will need to spend it, based on current rates and how much I think costs will increase. I write everything down in a calendar and meticulously plan my days down to when I will eat and when I will have time for the 3 showers after my pool time and multiple workouts.
Now, I just have to wait. Patiently. We will be hitting the road... soon... this year? Next year? Maybe Summer of 2024... So why did I start to build this site in January of 2021? Because I like to plan for the next thing. I like to be prepared. But guess what? There is NO amount of preparation that is going to actually be sufficient for life on the road for 13 weeks at a time in an unknown location, with no friends, two dogs, a trailer, no gym membership, and all the time in the world. Well, I'll have time on my hands. My husband will be working his @$$ off at a new hospital. We'll explore the town on his days off. And when he's working? I will be here, sharing with you fine people everything I know and am learning about fitness and nutrition and how to squeeze in those workouts... Perhaps literally- I anticipate living in small spaces- either a hotel room, small AirBnB, or our trailer!! I'll have time to read all the fitness articles I've dreamt of having the time for, and I'll probably do a few more certifications, because... why not? As a soon-to-be former Kindergarten teacher, I believe that learning is a life-long process. I can't wait to have time to soak up more knowledge about my passions. |
